Latest exam updates
There is currently no local ABRSM representative in Austria, so all exam arrangements are handled by the Music Theory team in the London office. Unfortunately we do not hold Practical exams in Austria.
To make an entry, please complete the relevant entry form, and scan and email this to [email protected]. Please send this to us no later than the closing date for that session. You can find our exam fees, closing dates and exam periods under the Dates and Fees section of our website.
Please note Theory exams can only be held as visits at schools of general education or LEA music centre approved by ABRSM in line with our regulations which can be found here (7. Place of Exams: visits).
We will then give you ABRSM’s bank details, and a unique code for each candidate, which should be included in the payment reference for the bank transfer. This ensures that we are able to link your payment to your entry.
Theory exam materials will be posted to the host venue 4 weeks before the exam.
Please note that retake fees apply only to candidates applying for a partial retake (2.2 or 2.1 and 2.2, etc.). If candidates are retaking the complete exam, the full fee is payable.
